How It Works

What a Saturday morning looks like.

Classes run 9:00am to 1:30pm, on Saturday or Sunday depending on the branch. Qur’an first, then a break, then Arabic and Islamic Studies, finishing with assembly and Dhuhr.

Group Classes

How most children learn with us.

Children are grouped by level, so everyone in the room is working on roughly the same thing.

All three subjects split across the day

Set curriculum with homework to take home each week

One-to-One Classes

The same curriculum, one child at a time.

A teacher works through the same three subjects with one child, at whatever pace that child needs. Progress is usually quicker, and gaps get picked up in the same session rather than later on.

Pace set entirely by the child

Nothing gets missed, and nothing gets repeated unless required

Places are limited by teacher availability each term

Enrolment Note

One-to-one enrolment is not handled online. Parents must visit the relevant branch to discuss suitability, availability, and arrange an assessment.

Choosing

Which format is right?

One-to-one gives a child a teacher’s full attention for the whole morning. Everything is pitched exactly where they are, and a teacher can spend as long as a child needs on something before moving on. It suits a child starting later than their peers, one who has been away from madrasah for a while, one who is well ahead and ready to move faster, or simply a child who concentrates better without a room around them. Progress is usually quicker.

Group classes follow the same curriculum, with children grouped by level and working alongside others at the same stage.

If you’re not sure, tell us about your child and we’ll say which we’d recommend.
